On May 5th (Cinco de Mayo) 1997, Visual Matter was formed and positioned as a creative, cost-effective, and project management driven multimedia production firm.

Visual Matter is a California registered Corporation headquartered in San Jose, California with a complete sales and production company in Denver Colorado.

Visual Matter believes in establishing clear communication. (Who doesn't say this?)

Visual Matter also understands the importance of educating our partners. (Heard this before.)

Visual Matter wants to build long- term relationships with our clients. To secure those long-term relationships we have to prove we know the process, have the knowledge to lead and of course that we can play in both the technology and creative aspects of multimedia.

At the request of clients that continue to ask for assistance Visual Matter was formed to offer the experience and direction of a total turn-key solution for Digital Content Development, Asset Management, and Project Management all applied to the development of custom eLearning and Interactive Marketing solutions distributed via CD, DVD and the Internet.

Visual Matter is a self-funded company. We want to drive this business based on our years of experience and by intelligently planned and controlled growth. With that said, Visual Matter is very aggressive, nimble, quick to develop, and we understand the true cost to develop and work hard for every dollar we get. Our clients are, to be humble, very pleased with our project management, level of communication, knowledge of industry, our ability to develop custom solutions, the dynamic end result of their specific project and most importantly by the cost for all that was mentioned.

This document is an internal training and guideline resource for all Visual Matter employees (to view a Readers Digest version of the Process click on "Our Process" from the navigation header above). Each employee within the organization uses the same terminology and tools to manage the development process of our partner's specific project.

Bottom line, we all speak the same language which makes the process clear and easy to understand. Our goal is to make this multi tiered and lengthy development process as easy and fun as possible.

Multimedia development is a relatively new industry. That doesn't mean that the process is new or unproven. With six years in the industry Visual Matter has a proven and effective process of custom application development.

Over the years, the founding team of Visual Matter has learned from the mistakes that other firms have made. These mistakes include missing release dates (sometimes by as much as eight months), promising technology that doesn't work, and wrongful pricing. We will not tolerate such practices. We have clients from before there was a Visual Matter. We have new clients that swear by us.
